HomeTalk is a wireless landline prepaid service based on a wireless technology. It is an upgraded version of the traditional landline. Home Talk offers you reliable, portable & cost-efficient home phone service.

Customers can either:

  • purchase a totally new number
  • recover a previously owned number that has since been disconnected (subject to availability)
  • migrate existing lines from PSTN (Fixed line on copper) to HomeTalk wireless service

Previously, Hometalk customers could only access data on PAYG rates or subscribe to dual play. Starting today, Hometalk customers will now be able to access all Orange data bundles.

The data bundles will be available on the following channels:-

  • *222#
  • *544#
  • myaccount.orange.co.ke

The price plan provides the customer with a prepaid bundle that has lower calling rates, allowing the customer to be in control of their usage.

HomeTalk is a plug and play service where no installation is required, with a faster acquisition process than the traditional fixed voice service.

  • The offer is only available on prepaid
  • Rates outside the bundle Ksh 6 on net and Ksh 12 off net
  • The bundle is Ksh 750 valid for a month
  • The rates in bundle are Ksh 5 across all networks

To subscribe to the bundle, dial *222# , select option 2. You can subscribe to the bundle at any time of the month. The bundle is valid for 30 days.
To check account balance for your account, dial *222# , select option 3 “manage my account”.
You will continue to enjoy the service even in the new location.
No. the product suitable for homes and small businesses. A customer can however buy more than one desk tops and have the numbers within a Closed User Group.
Yes. Former customers can have their numbers on HomeTalk. Existing customers can migrate their current landline number on HomeTalk within the same geographical zone.
